The Valley Theatre Company takes to
sea.
July and August signals a two month
break by the Valley Theatre Company
from their regular monthly
performances at their venue
St James Arts Centre. Instead the
intrepid company take to sea. Twice a
week on Tuesdays and Thursday nights,
in conjunction with the
Scarborough Pleasure Steamers the
company will present a Ghost Ship
experience, a mile out at sea on board
the Regal Lady.
Performing a specially written piece by
resident writer Graham Rhodes the
ghost ship tour comprises a narrator
introducing
some of Scarborough’s more ghostly
residents who each tell their grim and
grisly stories.
Starting Thursday July 6th, weather
permitting, the Regal Lady Ghost Ship
cruise leaves Lighthouse pier every
Tuesday and Thursday at
8.00pm and will run until the last week
in August. £32.50 adults, children £1.75
(under 5’s free). After each
performance there will be a
collection for the actors and production
team.
The company return to the St James
Arts Centre on Thursday 7th & Friday
8th September with two plays “Summer
on a Greek Island”
and “The Home Front”.
