Capt'n Ants Meets the Natives....Blenhiem BB&BBQs Ahoy there! after a week rest and recouperation from the Christchurch BB&BBQs I set off for Blenhiem and their BB&BBQs.... Pictures below info on what I tasted laters........have fun:) Under starters orders.....hey some people had a head start....:) The fellow Sombrero wearer no 1.... Mmmmm....ladies day...? Saudi like the beer then? Fellow sombrero wearer no2 Apparently after a few of these you start seeing pink elephants...... More BBQs than Blues and Brews? After a few brews you start to enjoy the spectical of it all...:) Another hat another beer and another group of locals.....did you see the size of his chin piercing! Sven trys a wheat beer These guys brought their own table and large brolley...it even had it's own wheels... A BBQ judge makes sure he doesn't lose his glass... A questionable shirt? The Un-official beer inspectors.... 'Magnum P.I.' helps me out at the Builders Arms.. 'Magnum P.I.' plus back up..... Hello Hello Hello.... Crocodile Duneden? You're only as old as you feel......and look what she's feeling..... The Booze Hags.....they said it not me! Oooo and tickle her under there! Surfin' IPA.... A Macs Dark and light join me with an Emersons... Cap'n Ants anchors a 'Bays Golden Girl.... Did Someone call security? As broad as it is tall.... "Hey Brian...I used to know a bird with legs like that..." The reelbeer.co.nz tent.... Don't tell Luke's wife but he's been tasting forbidden fruit whilst he's been away....:) Getting to know the lay of the land...... The four man tent was on special offer.... Getting some cider inside 'er.... After a few pints the stag soon found himself legless.... Adrian's blind date made the hair on the back of his neck stand on end..... Abo' was keeping tabs of how many bottles he had drunk by attaching the corks to his hat.... You could tell Kiss me Kate had had a few too many Pilsners as she was attemping to mount the wrong horse.... Darby Tuhaka got the crowds dancing at the small stage.... And the larger stage kept them in party mood.... Dark hair, dark shades, dark 'tash, dark beer...... Gone 6pm and the crowds are still here...and still tasting the brews... Crowds pack themselfs close as they dance to Midge Marsden with Bullfrog Rata..... Josh Kronfeld mouths off....on his mouth organ of course! Helping to clear up in the reelbeer.co.nz tent.... Helping to clear up at the Emersons tent into the night... Well best be orf and catch the tide......all aboard.....splice the mains'l.....make ready and cast off those big heavy ropes.....set sail for the open seas and mind the sand bar......catch you laters land lubbers!........
