There are ‘ghastly’ things a foot at
The New Tavern! Following the
successful launch of ‘The Acoustic
Attic’ a brand new acoustic venue
for the region at The New Tavern on
Falsgrave Road. A venue which
boasts a very intimate and cosy
little 'attic' at the top building,
tailored for acoustic acts. Local
Scarborough band Manfat Voodoo
presents a follow up performance of
last months free gig but with a
treacherous twist! Acoustic
Halloween!! Wooooo…..(spooky sound)
This special gig is on Tuesday 31st of
October and is a free event. Punters
please dress accordingly.
This particular event will feature
Manfat Voodoo playing songs from their
award winning acoustic CD "Erasmus
Darwin and the Chicken Ladder".
There are two surprise acts performing
at this event that will not be
announced until the evening of the
event due to reasons of evil…plus a
there will be a ‘Digital Freak Show’ that
has been specially spliced by the
Cultural Foundation for the show.
There will be rare footage of the
‘Blakey Ridge Hillbilly Werepigs’ that
were captured on camera up at the
‘Manfat Voodoo Halloween special’ gig
on Blakey Topping.
Visuals in this beautiful intimate and
spooky setting will be by 'Up for it TV'
the charming but Ghastly Captin Ants.
